How to stay Inspired
Happy Thursday my Tan Lines Bikini Babes!
I've been thinking a lot about how inspired and motived I've been feeling lately and how much I'm loving it. Obviously I always wasn't like this and I'm not always like this either! I go through highs and lows when it comes to creativity but when I'm on a creativity high, there is nothing I love more! When I hit the lows, its not the best, but I want to share what I do to get motivated and inspired and how I try to stay that way!
HOW TO STAY INSPIRED/MOTIVATED
& not get disocuraged
Surround yourself with inspiring people. - I don't know where I'd be without those who stand by me and support me. I love having friends in the industry to vent to, who understand what it's like, and who get me. I love meeting new influencers and bouncing ideas off each other, having coffee dates and leaving feeling refreshed and inspired by someone else's beautiful mind. Having a powerful boss babe tribe keeps me going and I love all the babes who are a part of mine.
Get on a schedule. - Buy a planner, and use it. Buy a notebook and write in that thing everyday like you breath. It's so important to stay on top of your plans, your goals, and your ideas and the only way I can keep track of my crazy busy mind is by writing EVERYTHING down. Not even kidding. (BTW I have a "How I Plan, Set Goals & Achieve them" blog post coming soon. So I'll go more into depth there!)
Don't let others get you down. - Other peoples negativity isn't your negativity, and don't let it become yours. // In any way, someone who brings you down or gets you upset doesn't deserve a place in your life. Cut them out like they were never even there! // Let your haters and copycats be your fuel. - Give them something to copy (more like a lame attempt of copying) even though its annoying. ( because they don't have a creative bone in their body) You know WHY you let this happen? Let it happen because you're a natural and you'll always be one step ahead of the wanna be creatives.
Turn everything into a positive. - I promise you, this is life changing. I know for me, there has been so many times where one little aspect of my life doesn't go as planned and it throws everything else off. You can't let this happen. If you can actually analyze your days, analyze when the "bad" things that happened and realize that there was still SO MUCH good around you, or realize the something good happened anyways, you will live a much happier life.
For example; a few months ago our camera got stolen. I thought it was going to ruin me, I had just begin to fully pursue my social media career and thought it was all over, cause the camera is kinda REALLY necessary for what I do. Cameras of the quality that we had cost around $1000, and I DID NOT, have that money on me at the time. But, I realized, I NEED a new camera, I WANT a new camera, and I'm gonna work my ass off until I HAVE that new camera. So, I became like a crazy determined person to gain back what I had taken from me, and you know what? I did it! & I got an even BETTER camera than I had before! & even better? I haven't stopped hustling since!
Long story cut really short, - Something that I thought was so negative, became the best thing that happened to me & that's also when I learned how to turn negatives into positives!
Be confident in what you're doing. - Nothing is more powerful than being a confident, yet humble person. I see them every where and they are the ones killing the game. ~ No one likes someone who is confident but looks down on others & turns a good attribute into a negative attitude. Just remember that you're a bad ass and a good one too.
A few phrases that I always carry in my mind.
"HAPPY MIND, HAPPY LIFE"
"EVERYTHING HAPPENS FOR A REASON"
"IF IT'S MEANT TO BE, IT WILL BE"
I hope that this blog post in some way gave you some inspiration & that you can apply these tasks into your life!
Im writing 2-3 blog posts a week, as of this week, so stay tuned for more regular blog posts!
